Have you noticed that the section height on the SO3-series tires is higher than what is claimed by the tire designation? I'm specifically curious about their tires in 18" sizes, but a general rule may apply across the board that I'm unaware of. I recall Luke mentioning an oddity in the stock-sized tires, but nothing of the 18" sizes.
What I'm specifically experiencing is front tire rub on the plastic wheel liner. The tires are 245/45/18, which calculates to a nominal 110.25mm of total sidewall. I, as well as others, have fit tires with the same or near that amount of total sidewall. I assume it's only a few mm too tall, but believe the SO3 tire, in general, runs "taller". Thanks, SS
